July 3, 2024 – Carbonaxion is awarded the combined financial support of nearly $350,000 from the provincial and federal governments to study an innovative clean energy project in Portneuf, Quebec, one of the first of its kind in Canada.

Electrochaea , Carbonaxion Bioénergies and Énergir are joining forces to develop an innovative Power-to-Gas (#P2G) project in Québec, Canada. This collaboration leverages Electrochaea’s market-ready bio-methanation technology to convert renewable electricity into renewable methane.

This project marks an important milestone in our commitment to advancing clean energy solutions and reducing carbon emissions. Together, we are committed to driving the energy transition forward and supporting Québec’s ambitious climate goals. This partnership is a significant step toward a sustainable circular economy, using the best of all 3 companies’ technologies and expertise.
